Useful Information

Key information for Year 5

PE is on Monday and Wednesday
Reading records will need to be brought in daily, and they will be checked on Mondays
Homework will be set on a Friday, with the expectation it will be done by the following Thursday

Homework

Each week, 2 pieces of homework are assigned - English or maths, and topic. Topic homework can be chosen from the attached homework menu. You should aim to complete 4 pieces of work from this list before half term, however, you could do more if you would like to! These are due in at any time of the autumn term, so take your time and think about your presentation carefully. If you need any paper for materials from school to help you complete your homework, please ask.

If your child needs any help, I have an ongoing 'Homework club' after school on Tuesdays, which runs from 3:15-3:45. It is an optional drop-in, and children don't need to come weekly if they don't need to.
